Got our paint on again

Hi All...

Not blogged for a while but I'm on it now, I have got a few to come over the next few days so keep an eye out for them.

I really wanted to share all this that we have been doing for the kiddiwinkles over the Summer period.

Ill start off with the Cuprinol Shades paint that I fell in love with over Summer. I wanted the play area to have lots of pastel colours in but to make it look really soft and summery with added country'esk feel.

I bought willow (green) sweet pea (pink) country cream (cream lol) and coastal mist (blue)

The lights were from B&Q which are solar panelled for the garden and I think they are super cute, I cant wait to get them out in the garden.

We bought a picnic table that doubles up to a sand pit!!! and I love it, perfect for summer fun and summer picnics, this was a plum product, we purchased new from Ebay. I also painted this in cuprinol colours so that all the garden had a pastel garden party feel. (obviously it will 'feel' better when it has all been finished) working progress lol.

Ethan's Mama and Grandad (Deans Mum and Dad) were feeling super generous and obviously love to spoil their Grandchildren, bought this  play house, which is the most amazing child's play 'toy' thing, I have ever seen :) it has an upstairs!!! wow lol. So anyway it was second hand and a bargain at £400 as to buy brand new they are £1000.

This was how it was when we bought it, it had been really looked after painted every year and looked in great condition, but obvious we got our paint on again and decided it would look good in the same pastel colours as I had made other bits for the garden, we wanted it to look good and gender neutral so we stuck to, two of the Cuprinol colours, the green and the cream....and this is what it looks like now :D Can I live in hear please?

As we got rid of out green house and veg patch to make this area strictly for the children, we thought it would be a fab idea to have some sort of raised bed in the area so they can grow their own bits and bobs, My Dad and Dean got to work and came up with this....

Yep! painted again lol not to forget this was made out of a pallet!!. Ethan's growing, Beetroot, Carrots, Lettuce and Radish :) he also has a tomato plant and this so far is what we have had from his vegetable pallet garden :D

YUMMY!!!

Aaaaaalmost the final result...
What the garden looks like now, We have put bark down, which was from B&Q 4 for £20 and the new swings have arrived, this was made from a local college student that's learning carpentry, (support local business and that's what we have done) :) We think we are going to paint the swings but this probably wont happen until next year, So for now...
My two love it, we are putting a fence up to gate it all off from the rest of the garden, for many reasons, 1. so its like they have their own little area, 2. to stop the dog from messing down their and 3. to keep them safe from the mess of the extension when that begins.
until next time
Amy
