A shade of yellow...

Good Evening Guys and Gals....

Tonight's little outfit comes to you by, New Look, Fearne Cotton at Very and Next.

When Autumn begins and the beautiful colours come out to play, I always always always buy the mustard yellow, I adore this colour so much and just love how it looks on me. Yellow can still make you feel all smiley and warm even when them cold frosty evenings are just around the corner. So what better way to not quite let go of Summer, than to wear a mustard ribbed jersey pencil midi skirt. Easy to wear day or night, day wear could be teamed up with tights and tucked in blouse, either boots, little flat shoes or a nice heel to finish, whatever style you want to go for, I think you can do with this skirt and it would work. This was from the Fearne Cotton range from Very

I teamed mine up with a turtle neck long sleeve crop top, to still give the style that warm autumn feel, without wrapping up like an Eskimo. The top was from New Look but it isn't a recent buy but I have been on and you can buy similar products :)

Last but not least my sexy little shoes, I have had these in a previous blog so you will know they were out the Next Summer Sale, but you will be able to buy similar one from a lot of places, I know New Look have some in that are similar at the moment

So the finished look, looks like this....

Top New Look £9.99 - similar available
skirt Very - Fearne Cotton range £32.00
shoes Next (similar in New Look at £19.99)

I hope you have enjoyed this evenings Blog.

September Shopping fun

Hiii Everyone!

I kind of got ALOT of New News this month. I don't think these are them all, I need to make sure I blog as I buy or I just forget what I have got, but here are what I remember anyway lol. Mainly New Look but a bit of River Island chucked in there for good measure :)

First things first!!! (Major problems) shoes Or pumps in this case. I bought both pairs from new look. My faves the dog tooth ones. At a bargain if I do say so myself. £12.99. Then the other ones are a cute nude/pink colour with a bit of glitz and glam to them and they were £19.99.

I love New Look Jeans, they are so easy to wear and are super comfy, these are both super skinny jeans, a grey pair and a blue ripped knee pair (in love with a ripped jean at the moment) these were both £22.99each I believe. Love them x

These shorts were like a quick of impulse buy because I like them, I think they were on offer or something, cant remember the price of them, but these were a just because buy lol.

Needed a new blazer as since I have lost over 2stone my old ones look like, when you put your Mums close on as a child lol. So was definitely ready for a new one. this was a steal at £19.99 from New Look
My River Island buys, which I am super crushing on, especially my mustard floral dress which was £35.00 (I did pick mine up from Very)

This dress is tartan/leopard print, with a sexy white collar, all my favourite things in one dress what more could I ask for, this was £30.00 (River Island)

Abit of a rubbish photo of this awesome swing jumper from river island, it has black sleeves and a leather look strip down the top of the sleeve, grey jumper with a cute paper plane on the jumper, a lovely cosy jumper but not to thick, perfect for Autumn. This was £35.00

hope you enjoyed this

office? or just because....

Hey Everyone...

Hope you are all well :) I wanted to show you this outfit I got from Miss Selfridge (so in love) the crop shirt was £30 with the gorgeous detailing around the collar, super versatile too, goes with many other items, jeans, skirts etc. You can dress it up or down :) top buy. I ordered a size 10 and probably could of done with a size 8 as it was a little on the big side, the material is slightly stretchy too which also makes it feel that little bigger, just a heads up so if you are between sizes like myself, to order both sizes and then decide. (if it looks tight in my photos, I took it in at the back lol.)

The trousers are sooo comfy and so flattering, I am only 5ft 2 and with a platform underneath the trousers they make me look so tall. the trousers are also Miss Selfridge at £39.00 which I thought was a really good price for these. You get a cute little belt with the trousers and they really do synch you in at the waist making that a focal point, which makes you look slimmer, always a bonus,
Ey Girls? :P

I would wear this outfit on a day out/night out/meals out. so I think for the price of the items I would wear them often enough to warrant paying for them :D On a Mummy's point of you I would probably wear this outfit when the Grandparents want the children for the weekend, not the most practical outfit when you have children climbing your legs :)

Hope you have liked this little outfit rundown, more tomorrow so keep a look out :)

Olivia needed new sizes

Hey Guys!
I have been naughty!

Mummy's spoilt the Princess again!! Although I will justify myself by saying she is living in about 2/3 outfits as she has out grown most of her 9-12months now and she is heading into 12-18months clothing.
So this will be like a mini Next hauls as all the bits are from Next.
I love Next clothing especially for my two munchkins. They look great, wear well, wash great and iron fabulously and as Mum these things are vital lol!!!  A little pricey at times but I can live with that because the pros out way this.

This little autumn dress will look fab with some tights and some boots, I have bought a green fluffy gilet to go with it but it hasn't come yet!!! This is quite big on her thought so she wont be wearing it for another month or so yet.
12-19mnths £9.50

These boots I fell head over heels in love with, When I put them on here I had decided to keep them, but as I haven't blogged in a while, I did end up sending them back in the end. I thought I would just pop them on here to show you anyway, I absolutely love these boots, they are real leather and are just the cutest, but they were £32 and I thought for Olivia's age that was quite pricey. So in the end I decided to send them back because she wouldn't get much wear out of them at the moment, so I thought I would get her re sized at Christmas and re order them in the size she will be then :D
size 3 £32

However I did keep this little cute pumps in a size 4 for all her new clothes she will get over the Christmas period :D. I know for her birthday she got a lot of colours that will go with these so they are perfect. you cant really see from the photo but they have this sweet little bow on the back also all girly and sparkly.

size 4 £13

How adorable is this ladybird jumper, look at all the sequins. I love it. This is quite light weight, more of a sweater, so its great for autumn weather as the weather is in-between.
12-18months £11

These two outfits were a must, just look at them. I am loving all the braces for little girls at the minute, and my little red head just looks the cheekiest in them. To the left we have a shirt and woollen skirt set, with some cute little pink pumps to finish off the, It just reminds me of one of those drawings they do with the little girls and the strawberries :)
The right outfit, just shouts out attitude to me, which my little lady has a lot of lol. The skirt comes with braces and has a little dog to the right of the skirt, The top has a gorgeous peter pan collar and had little apples all over it, finished off with an essentials cardigan and some lovely bright red hi tops

£24 for the shirt and knitted skirt set             £14 skirt
£13 for the pumps                           £13 shoes
                                    £9 cardigan
                                      £5.50 top

I had to get the two packs of Peppa Pig Pyjamas, I am giving them to her for her birthday, she will love them so much, Peppa Pig is her favourite, The slippers are being used now, because she is walking all over, I like her to have something on her feet.
£12 each for pjs
£8 for the slippers

Then below are just a few essential tops, for quick dressing days, things that will go with anything. The plain tops were £3.00 and the stripe one £3.50

I do love Next for the kids, Let me know if you are the same.
Say Hi, Leave me a comment :D

Got our paint on again

Hi All...

Not blogged for a while but I'm on it now, I have got a few to come over the next few days so keep an eye out for them.

I really wanted to share all this that we have been doing for the kiddiwinkles over the Summer period.

Ill start off with the Cuprinol Shades paint that I fell in love with over Summer. I wanted the play area to have lots of pastel colours in but to make it look really soft and summery with added country'esk feel.

I bought willow (green) sweet pea (pink) country cream (cream lol) and coastal mist (blue)

The lights were from B&Q which are solar panelled for the garden and I think they are super cute, I cant wait to get them out in the garden.

We bought a picnic table that doubles up to a sand pit!!! and I love it, perfect for summer fun and summer picnics, this was a plum product, we purchased new from Ebay. I also painted this in cuprinol colours so that all the garden had a pastel garden party feel. (obviously it will 'feel' better when it has all been finished) working progress lol.

Ethan's Mama and Grandad (Deans Mum and Dad) were feeling super generous and obviously love to spoil their Grandchildren, bought this  play house, which is the most amazing child's play 'toy' thing, I have ever seen :) it has an upstairs!!! wow lol. So anyway it was second hand and a bargain at £400 as to buy brand new they are £1000.

This was how it was when we bought it, it had been really looked after painted every year and looked in great condition, but obvious we got our paint on again and decided it would look good in the same pastel colours as I had made other bits for the garden, we wanted it to look good and gender neutral so we stuck to, two of the Cuprinol colours, the green and the cream....and this is what it looks like now :D Can I live in hear please?

As we got rid of out green house and veg patch to make this area strictly for the children, we thought it would be a fab idea to have some sort of raised bed in the area so they can grow their own bits and bobs, My Dad and Dean got to work and came up with this....

Yep! painted again lol not to forget this was made out of a pallet!!. Ethan's growing, Beetroot, Carrots, Lettuce and Radish :) he also has a tomato plant and this so far is what we have had from his vegetable pallet garden :D

YUMMY!!!

Aaaaaalmost the final result...
What the garden looks like now, We have put bark down, which was from B&Q 4 for £20 and the new swings have arrived, this was made from a local college student that's learning carpentry, (support local business and that's what we have done) :) We think we are going to paint the swings but this probably wont happen until next year, So for now...
My two love it, we are putting a fence up to gate it all off from the rest of the garden, for many reasons, 1. so its like they have their own little area, 2. to stop the dog from messing down their and 3. to keep them safe from the mess of the extension when that begins.
until next time
