In love!

Hey Guys...

I thought id share with you a little trip to Flamborough we had on Tuesday the 26th of August 2014.

We went to see friends who were staying there for a while.

Ill show you mainly in pictures what went off, but I just wanted to say how much I fell in love with Flamborough, Its it is so pretty! I loved all the cliffs and little beach coves. it was just gorgeous scenery.

They all went swimming for a little while, I got plenty of pictures as it was Olivia's first time in a swimming pool. she loved it. Ethan has always loved water, it doesn't scare him at all, so the quicker we can get the armbands off the better, we are thinking about having him at swimming lessons once he turns 5.

These are some of the photos we took while out walking!!! just look at the views...

Ethan and his little friend Maxi posing :)

We went down to one of the little beaches, there was this abandoned vehicle on the beach that the kids had a play in, It really was just something else.

This was just in front of the beach, I fell in love with these boats, there was just something about them.

I found this cave in the side of the cliff, just look at it!! wow. I got a few sneaky pictures inside thanks to Dean.

This was up the side of one of the rocky cliffs, I just think the whole place had so much character.

Ethan stone throwing in the sea, he is always at the right place at the right time for me to take amazing photos of him.

Hope you enjoyed this quick glimpse of out beautiful day trip to Flamborough

Autumn essentials!!!

Hi Everyone...

So I thought I would dip my toe into the A/W14 season, now! I know we need to grab a hold of any Summer that is remotely left but at the same time we need to get prepared to look gorgeous but start wrapping up for these not to shabby seasons we have coming our way.

I for one have a love/hate relationship with these seasons, for example; I love how pretty autumn is, trees leaves etc. But not a fan of the...

'oooh its not quite cold enough ahhh but its to cold for scenarios.'

Then Winter urrrgh!! I hate being cold, but winter shouts out to me log burners, pumpkins, trick or treating and most exciting of all, Christmas. warm and cosy (apart from when you have to enter the outside world and feel you may freeze and never return to the warmth of your home!!!)

As I start to get my A/W14 wardrobe going I will blog about my outfits and my key pieces etc. I will be almost definitely getting a new wardrobe for this year as nothing fits me from the previous years (go team Slimming World).

Soooo this season then, what we going to be looking at!!!

winter floral's
Floral for me this year have been a huge hit. With my added weight loss confidence I have experimented so much more with clothing, I have become obsessed with trousers, trouser style joggers. so these floral trousers are defiantly going to make it to my wardrobe this season. I love the fact you can dress them up or down, for day or night. I love recycling clothes and using them again for different styles.

These peg leg trousers to the left are from Miss Guided and I think the pattern is just so pretty.
£19.99 sizes S M L

Even though winter is fast approaching we cant stop wearing pretty skirts and dresses, team them with tights and boots or flat shoes and your instantly on trend but still cosy. This dress is from Dorothy Perkins £18.00 sizes 6-22

The skinny roll up
The roll up jean, love it!!! a bit of ankle showing with a ankle boot, a nice check shirt or a plain Tee. makes a perfect casual look. So easy to dress up as well :) Jeans are so versatile, any season must have!!!

These are from Dorothy Perkins at £26.00 sizes 6-22

Although the skinny roll up is very much in trend this season, I cannot shy away from the ripped Jean!! My total favourite piece to have in the wardrobe,

These below are an item from New Look price £22.99 they usually come in various sizes but are low on stock with these

Monochrome
This has been big for a while now and I think with it being a huge hit they just keep bringing items out to go with what ever season it is, but to be honest you cant do any wrong with the colours black and white, you can add a splash of colour to jazz it up a bit or you can keep it classy with black and white all the way through.

Fitting in with the shirt theme, as shirts are going to be big this season also, I have found this from River Island at £38.00 sizes 6-18

A season of texture
from textured tops to a bit of fur, anyway we can make warm look stylish, we just have to have it.

Not only is this top right on style for this season, its also in my all time favourite colour, I love burgundy (wine) for winter it makes me happy this colour lol.

Textured top from Dorothy Perkins
 £16.00. size range from 6-22

100% versatility, dress down with some jeans and some ankle boots, or dress up with a pencil skirt skirt and block heels, perfect!!!

Another texture that always seems to come back around whenever it starts to get that bit cooler is, fur. Fur can give an outfit that bit of luxury and warmth without going overboard on to much layering. Whether its a gilet or a full fur coat, you cant go wrong to have at least one piece in your wardrobe

This is also from Dorothy Perkins at £29.00 sizes small-XL

The blanket wrap!!!
This looks to be the autumn/winter alternative to kimonos. I have started seeing these in shops and online and I am just not sure? what do you think?

For one I believe it would just drowned my body shape and make me look round a stumpy and most definitely not flatter me at all, but for others with long legs etc. I believe they would pull this off and look fabulous, although I did like the kimonos I feel in a way as they were lighter and more flowy anyone could pull them off, but for me I think I would look like I have took my quilt out with me for the day!!! lol... I will not judge this to much until I have tried one on!! so as soon as I have I will blog about my 'blanket wrap' experience.

Loving the colours and pattern of this one from New Look one size £24.99

We all need that Parka!!
Statement piece alert!!! No matter how many coats you buy this coat is always a must have item, it comes back year in year out and in all fairness you can see why, they look fab, they shout out autumn/winter time, they go with outfits and they are just so practical.

I love this one from New Look the collar makes it for me, added fur is always a bonus :) The price of this one is £44.99 and comes in sizes 6-18 but hurry they are starting to get low in stock.

The ankle boot!!
This is such an autumn piece and perfect with the skinny roll ups, to warm for knee boots, just cool enough to show abit more flesh before we wrap up.
Both pairs from Next  £58.00 sizes 3- 09

I am in love with these two pairs from next, I love a brown boot, I think they can just finish a look, and the black one gives you two must have this season, an ankle boot and a textured finish. just perfect to chuck on with some skinny's.

The block heel...
Now I don't know about you but when I think of a block heel I think of a sandal with an ankle strap and a piece over the toes, like these little beauties below :) They can dress any casual day where up lovely, whether its lunch with friends or a shopping trip these are just a lovely piece to finish your outfit.

Dorothy Perkins  Black block heel sandal, £25.00 sizes 3-9.
I have a similar pair from Next in yellow that are just fab, I can dress them with a plain vest top and some jeans with similar colour accessories and I have made my outfit.

These two must haves below are an autumn/winter alternative to the block heel sandal. We have a block heel shoe boot and a block heel boot.

The gorgeous textured black boot is from MissGuided for £34.99 sizes from 3-8

These peep toe shoe boots are a favourite of mine, I love cut out shoes at the moment so these are just perfect for me. They are from Dorothy Perkins at £39.00 from sizes 3-9

Before I disappear I thought id show you a few bundle styles that you can buy from Dorothy Perkins. I love how they have done this, to make it so much easier for people to buy key trends with ease.

share your styles with me, cant wait to show you some of my #ootd this Autumn/Winter :D Happy shopping

I hope you love this blog as much as I do

let me know what you think, comment below :D :D

What a day!!

Hi Guys
A quick heads up on what has been going on these last few days.

I Just thought I would share with you a little trick I did the other day, in full of them I must admit. Sarcasm at its finest.

(PLEASE don't try this at home)

I decided to go over on my ankle coming down the stairs at home, which resulted in: my husband having to come home from work two hours after arriving their, My mum having my two cherubs on the day she started back on nights and a hospital trip for me.

I have never known pain like it, I was positive it was broken!!! I was 'mooing' like I was in labour again (feel free to laugh, I can now lol.)

The X-rays came back, with no sign of a break, just badly torn ligament which could take up to 6weeks to heal!!! They bandaged me up and gave me crutches and I have to go back in a weeks time.

Within minutes of falling. Not good.

At the hospital, it has now grown slightly lol, sporting a sexy wheel chair.

Back home after having X-rays, you can see the swelling through the bandages.

The Queen of Chilling :) I had my orders lol

Day 2 of my bad foot!!! I recall it looking slightly similar to the foot from the Adam Sandler film 'Mr Deeds'

Sorry about the nail polish, just not quite got the Hubby onside to sort them out yet, it WILL happen lol.

So this is what my silly self has been up to, I hope I haven't put you off your Lunch.

Until next time

I won!!

Hi Everyone...

Just thought I would do a little blog about a competition I won not to long ago, with a company called soigne. Their website isn't running yet but give them a follow on instagram #soignnailsuk or like on facebook soigne nails uk. I love these polishes so much! I won the 'Macaron Collection' set, which has gorgeous pastel colours inside.

This is the colours ive used so far, aren't they just beautiful!! they wear really nice, if you pop the varnish on the nail a thin layer at a time it really takes no time at all to dry, the finish is just lush, its like you have already put a top coat on. So shiny :)

So what are you waiting for go like and follow and get purchasing their awesome nail varnish! it rocks!!!

A little excited to say the least lol

Absolutely in love with the packaging, just look at it, A pink box with a silver pattern all over it, got the vintage crossed with a feel of shabby chic, with elegance and expense. Then the brand right in the middle, you wont forget them in a hurry.

Inside is a wax paper with a little seal also with the brand on it, when you finally decide to open the seal... just look at the bottles of polish, all neatly sitting in their own cushioned slot. So professional and very cute.

I haven't used all the colours yet, I will go through the ones I have tried.

The first one which is such a nice colour, Lavande, two coats of polish and no top coat and just look at that shine. so so so pretty, the bottles are so stylish and the brush is nice to apply the colour.

The next colour was called fruit de la passion, its a nice pastel peach colour very subtle, I finished it off with some Barry M glitter :)

Patale De Rose, this is the strongest caller in the pack, but its such a nice pink, not over powering at all, they have really got these colours perfect.

The last colour I have tried is the baby blue colour, perfect for the women that have their nails done before going into labour, such a lovely blue colour, its called Pistache. Looks a little grey on this picture but to the eye it is a lovely Blue. The last colour that I haven't yet tried is Caramel very natural nude colour can see it looking gorgeous when your wanting your nails polished but nothing too dramatic.

So glad I won these products because they are just fabulous. Girls what are you waiting for??

Hope you like todays blog

Party time

Hiya guys!!

Today was my cousin's little boys 1st birthday. So a big family party had to happen, so i thiught i would share with you, my day make up my out fit, a sneaky look at what Ethan and Olivia wore and Dean also got in for the giggles lol.

So below is a few pictures of my make up I wore today. I kept it quite natural. With nudes and not to harsh with the foundation.

The foundation I used was rimmel match perfection in colour 103 true ivory with an spf 18, I like this as it seems really light and its just a quick foundation to pop on. I picked up mine from boots.

My bronzer is an Avon one in colour arabian glow, I like to put this under my blusher plus my nose and forehead it gives me that, just got back from a holiday look.

My blusher of which is quite old but my most favourite is an helen e cosmetics one called love blush press powder. Definitely investing in another one. Its so good, applies really nice and gives you natural blushed cheeks that are not to thick or dark.

The eye shadow pallette I have was from Next called w7, I think its like an imitation of the NAKED pallets from Urban Decay but never the less they are nice little eyeshadows to wear through the day. I wore silk thunder and abit of buff for the inside of my eye to bright it up.

My mascara I cannot live without as my eyelashes are so light without anything on them, I look like i have none lol. I am in absolute love with the benefit theyre real mascara. It makes my eyelashes look so big and so full!! My number one!! Worth the money 100%.

Eyebrows another benefit product browzings in light. I dont tend to use both products I only use the powder side for my eyebrows but never the less a fab must have product.

The eyeliner is a lancome eyeliner which goes on really well i need my eyeliner to be quite soft so his is just perfect for me thats in colour 01 noir, I got this product free with a mascara i bought from lancome as a tester but i do think its great.

Last but not least my lipstick which is another product from Avon in colour pout. Perfect for day wear. Adds colour without over powering you face. Especially as I was just going to a childs party. Fab for shopping trips etc too.

Finished look. Minus the hair lol

Complete look hair make up and glasses (I can seeee) lol

Out fits of the day!

My Prince wore a complete Next outfit from top to shoes. I love him in Next clothes. Not only does he look like the coolest guy around, for a Mum they also wash and Iron super well.

Hes such a poser! Lol

A quick few silly snaps with my boy.

This little princess wore a dress a got in the winter sale from M&Co so its just been sat in the wardrobe waiting to be worn! I think she looks super cute!!! Her tights were from a pack of three from Next and her shoesies are Clarks pre walkers.

The Hubby getting in on the act. He wore a Goodsouls grey top and black skinnys both from Very and then White converse.

Last but not least, I wore a next top, Newlook necklace, Lovel label jeans from Very and my Primark sandals. Loving my huge hair today, my hair is so thin and flat most of the time.

Party Time!

Little Lucas's Ra Ra birthday cake which was just fab! And tasted divine!!! (May of used all my syns but it was worth it lol)

Birthday boy and I (cuuutie)

Lucas loooved his cake

Olivia loved the cake also lol

He had the best time

My boy loved the bouncy castle we didn't see him all day. It tired him out!! From 5:30pm he slept until 7am this morning lol.

Sorry its a day late, but its up now. Enjoy :D
